Looking for Alaska by John Green

This is an AMAZING book. From start to finish it pulls you in and won't let go. It is the winner of the Micheal Printz Award for Excellence in Young Adult Literature.
This is the story of Miles "Pudge" Halter. He spends the first part of the book looking for the Great Perhaps. You find out that he is obsessed with famous peoples last words. He is enrolled in Culver Creek Boarding School where he meets the sexy, and crazy Alaska Young, with who he is immediately smitten. She is a HUGE practical joker. He also describes her as smelling of vanilla and cigarettes. As the story progresses Miles gets a girlfriend, but he is still attracted to Alaska. They plan a tremendous prank, consisting of sending failing report cards home to Weekday Warriors. Through out this story Alaska has a boyfriend, and one night she runs off without an explanation. What happens next turns Mile's world completely upside down. I'm going to leave it off right there, because I really think you guys should read this book even though it is young adult.
I cried when I got to the end of the book because it is just that emotional. It really does keep you hanging on from the first page to the last.

Happy Reading!

P.S. You really should check out Brotherhood 2.0 on YouTube. It is John Green with his brother Hank, and become a part of nerdfighteria!
